You may want to look into how to make a rocket stove out of tin cans on Youtube. They are easy to make, and effective using a small fire

likeithot,
I know those tin can stoves.
Seen them on Y tube...

This stove is a very small flat pakket, when not used.

Takes in less space, then those cans.
i will see if i can find a picture of it, when folded.

Glad you found something that'll pack flat that will work for you! Hope you 'try it out' at home a few times before taking it on the road so you get the experience of using it and following all the safety precautions before beginning your trek!

BillywildMartin,
Thank you.
Yes i am, for sure, going to use it at home, or rather in the garden, or shed, to get the feel for it, get used to it.
Want to go cooking on it, on a daily basis. see how it goes.

you have to build this thing up, with all the parts in the good sequence...

I want to feel safe doing that, in a way i can do it, with my eyes closed.

Let's see what you cook in it rosie.I found piece of hardwood next to the track and thought I'd do some cooking with it. A cake cooked over an open fire. Basically just a chocolate cake with a heap of nuts added. My cooking is simple but good. I throw the pan on with olive oil and chuck the chicken wings in. Then at the same time I cook thick cuts of potato in a pot in water. When the potato softens I take the chicken wings out of the pan and put the hot potato in the oil and fry them till golden crispy. I slice up tomato and grate some carrot to have with it. and I love it. Cheap as chips but I love it more than what the takeaway shops offer.

Imagine my surprise when I found out that my opinion actually mattered!
