Christmas rituals Yeah, i know, Sinterklaas is still in the country, leaves after 6 december... jajadajajajajadada So, since i dont dó sinterklaas anymore. I do my own Christmas rituals Every year, again, the public is asked to send in their best music hits. Their best nummers! So, untill the saterday before Christmas there is all kind of music on the radio. No, i dont vote, i just like to be suprised with the music choices of "the people" listening to this one radio sender. Actually, almost all radio senders have their own special lists, made by their listeners. I really like that. And, when it is all over, they made a special list of the numbers that did not made it! So, most of the time, that is really the best choices in music. Sometimes i sing with the radio, sometimes i crinch and put the sound down, you do hear a lot of, what i would call; garbage.  Always nice to remember that other people dont like my choices, and love what i call; garbage.... It is all there!!

That is my only Christmas ritual. Still doubting, if i shoud buy a little christmas tree, or not.... always with roots, so i can give it a new life.. in my garden...

Jokes... Christmas jokes It was Christmas Eve , snowing very hard... the Catholic priest was doing a service in an outer lying small congregation before doing another at his larger congregation. He was driving back to his congregation, running a little late when he comes up behind a drunk on the road, swerving from side to side. He decides he is going to pass him, but instead, the drunk runs him off of the road. The drunk stops to check on him , sees his collar and says Father, are you alright? Being a bit perturbed the priest answers quickly, yes, I have the lord riding with me. The drunk looks him in the eye and says Father, you better let him ride with me, you almost killed him that time...

music is always best Rosa unless they start hounding Christmas songs at beginning of November it’s soo over commercialized here & fakeness bounds l just don’t feel the spirit til Christmas Eve & glad when it’s all over! lol

Rosa, If your garden is packed and/or the flora hates pine needles here, don't plant it out. Pine needs a special flora and it also makes it special, unsuitable for alot of other plants. It means that a pine tree chases away or kills other plants which are unable to bear the company of a pine tree. But if you want a true christmas tree next year in the garden, a true pine will be a good choice.

brandy, Aaah, yes, not even over my dead body, would i buy a plastic tree in my house!! ....... ALthough....... Although, last year, they had a pink christmas tree, i loved it!! It was soo over the top, ugly, i loved it at first sight! wanted to buy it!! For sure!! But when i had the time to go and buy it, they sold it already!!

bdsmDd, Yes, all that very sweet music, ugh! Cant stand it. I love the more rough Christmas songs, or totally over the top! That one from Alice Cooper, i believe... is fun! For me it is just an other day, still have to hibernate untill May... before life, living, comes back....

hungaroboy, I have put every Christmas tree in all my gardens, everywhere i lived! I know, the needles of some pine trees are too acid, for the ground, soil. Fern can live under a real Christmas tree, so does soapwort. They love the acidy soil. I have a Larch in my garden, that one shelds it needles, makes the soil acidy, i believe the right word for it, is.... It is such a majestic tree!!! Sooo large too! Love it!!

lancylad, Oh! Yeah! a colleague talked about that singer/ group. Hmm, i dont know about nr 1, though.... It was a certain kind of music you have to like!! or not. I dont believe mainstream will ever heard about him.
