It is again, sooo terrible cold! It sucks the energy right out of me. The only thing i want to do, is going to sleep under a mountain of blankets... And wait this new ice age time out... Yeah, the sun is shining, we have more daylight, that is for sure. But you cant get outside, because the wind is soo terrible cold it freezes your skin of your bones!! It is, goddamn it, almost May!! Or it is raining like mad!! or this!! Sure, i take care of my body, have enough clothes on, cover my face, my hands, have three layers of clothes on, + an extra thick jacket.... Does not keep me warm, though!! Goes right through me...  I am even wearing my long winter skirts again, and that is really extreem, even for me!

drmgirl, I dont know, either, but i live here, so i have to.....  That is one reason, why i am going to go, away from this cold.... Stay indoors, most of the time, go shopping, visit friends, during lunch times that is the time, it is not thát cold... but that is relatively.... ofcourse.... layers upon layers.... cover my face, as much as possible. and so on....Brrr

What is the weather like when it is summer there, the temperatures, dear Rosa? Do you have summer or real springtime? I know that winter and cold weather, constant grey sky, cold wind, and those layers of clothes, scarfs, and gloves, all make me feel heavy and a bit depressed (I mean more than I already am  ).We are having here another wave of low temperatures with a m mixture of sun and rain, but not once at all... I can't wait for summer to come 🌞🌞🌞

I know what you mean, Rosa - living in the flat lands of East Anglia , we get that cold air before you do and like you I'm still wearing long skirts or trousers ........ probably going to be a late summer this year, so the only happy people right now are the gas and electricity supply companies !! Stay inside and stay warm. D-J xx

ExxName, Well, "real" summer did not happen, since about 3 years, i geuss... spring has become the wet season, with terrible cold wind from the easten regions. Like the northpole...... Brrrrr Now it is a mix from very cold winds, with some sunshine, but the winds eat your skin of your face, so cold! A hell of a lot of rain, and it stays dark, grey and you wont see the sun the rest of the day, although the rain has stopped. SO terrible depressing!! Always overcasted, always clouds, some hours, sometimes, we see the sun... It is almost impossible to have a starry night... You see, most problaby three or four stars, and thats it, clouds, you see more then enough! Yes, me too, depressed, to have to wear all those layers of clothes, even before i go feed the birdies, i have to get fully dressed, with coat, scarf, and mittens, bonnet, hood, otherwise i will be terrible cold, before i go inside again! It is already about 20 degrees in South Spain, of South France!

davina, Aah, one other suffering person, in the same conditions! Always nice to know, i am not suffering on my own!   Yes, terrible! It eats the energy out of my body, i cant get warm, afterwards, so i have to go and sleep for at least 2 hours! before i feel a bit alife again! Sooo terrible tired too!! Yeah, those companies having a party on our bill!
