Starting Kit.

This might come as a shock to some, but just moving in ISN’T the end-all/be-all. No, you will need a kit to start out.
This kit will be yours permanently- You need these things to work, to live, to be the thing I need you to be, even though you generally won’t need them day to day.
Of course your collar and cuffs are part of that kit, but you sleep with those on. Beyond that are:
Multi-tool. A basic multi-tool.
Googles. Two pairs, one clear lens and one tinted, to protect your eyes while working.
Gloves. Very light-duty work gloves.
Sleeves. Long-armed fingerless gloves to protect your arms, mainly from the sun and wind.
Mask, In the post-pandemic world, we all must have<b> masks </font></b>in certain situations, and while I fully believe the crisis has been brazenly exploited and abused to advance certain people and group’s agendas, it changes nothing in practical day to day life- We wear them or we get kicked out of stores. It’s wrong and it is what it is.
This is the basic starter kit, all of which I already have except the gloves and sleeves (I am waiting to order those once you are here, since they need to fit YOU, not ME).
Scarf. To cover the collar when we’re out and about, and thus avoid trouble (yes, it’s happened).
Once you’ve been here a couple weeks, two major events happen; The first is your leash gets released. You’ve shown you can be trusted enough to have a little bit of freedom. The second is you will be issued your knife, a basic folding knife (nothing remarkable). Any knife is dangerous, and this is another physical manifestation that you have proven you can be trusted with a little bit of freedom.
I regret I can not upload the photos of the kit here, they’re very helpful in understanding, but that is what it is.
