the email i got about Breast Augmentation

Dear Rhiannon Lynn Frost:Your email addressed to Health,Seniors and Active Minister Kelvin Goertzen regarding coverage and acess to transgenger breast augmentation surgery has been referred to me for response.Manitoba Health ,Seniors and Active Living MHSAL provides health benefits on behalf of Manitoba residents in accordance with The Health Services Insurance Act and its regulations.As noted in previous correspondence to you ,MHSAL has an established process for accessing insured transgender health services.This includes an application from patient"s treating physician(typically a surgeon)supported by a psychological assessment confirming a diagnosis of gender dysphoria ,and referral from the treating primary care physician .MSAL relies physicians and mental health professionals experienced in the area of gender dysphoria and its treatment to diagnose and refer patients for insured transgender services.Regarding transgender breast augmentation surgery ,if you have not already done so ,we encourage you to contact Klinic Community Health's Transgender Program in order to begin the process and submit an application for breast augmentation to MHSAL.Also as noted in previous communication to you,I would encourage you to rasie your questions or concerns about eligibility for transgender medical services under provincial health insurance plan ,or questions about application for benefits ,to Jenna Cumming ,labour relations officer.
