Thanks! I'm not married but also not looking for cybersex. Although I am submissive, I'm not lifestyle and rarely have used this site to meet anyone. As for your goth interests, I would not be your person. I'm a psychotherapist and I enjoy discussions regarding ways of being- otherness - to open my mind for my practice.

I don't seek anything. This is an amusement/entertainment/titillation. It's a place I can journal the magnificent images I see so I can reflect back on them years later, the whole possibly providing insight to me about what I really like so I can then focus my life more on that in particular - avoid wasting time on others. I choose Alt because the restrictions on non-members keeps the layperson away. Incidental to all this is the ability to peek into the private lives of others. ...and occasionally make a friend/pen pal to share this hobby of mine. That's not an "exchange"; that's just a little motivation to continue.

Nope, no FetLIfe. Too many folks there would recognize me and want to connect. ...and I don't want to connect with them. (No offence to them. *smiles*) I'm here on Alt more for my own introspection. The occasionally connection with perfect strangers (like yourself *smilin'*) is icing n the cake. What entertains me is in my profile. Not being curt or rude to you in saying that, but my profile really does sum it up.

Ah...! There it is...! You are correct in your second assessment that I am only looking for a very casual, lighthearted, enjoyable exchange of shared interests - like an entertaining hobby. Alt (as reflection of myself) is all about the aesthetics of life - enjoyment that comes via mere sight and sounds that pass by. I am a minimalist and a stoic so I do not like getting deep into something, although there are many exceptions but those on a 'survival' level of life - my one and only friend and lover of 24 years, work, domestic affairs, finances, family obligations, etc. I've had my profound conversations in my life about BDSM and other such deeply important things that normal people keep secret. What I discovered and analyzed were the trends, the means, the averages; to which are now the beliefs for my life now that I can share openly. I've yet to discover anything new since those times; nothing new enough that it creates a radial change in the mean that I've identified and live by. ...and so it is that I now sit back and simply enjoy life for its aesthetics now - there are so many of those - without laboriously questioning the meaning to it all, or soul searching for secrets hidden from ones self. I strongly believe I know them - I know myself openly. "Stop and smell the roses", me thinks these days. *smiles*
