I’ve never been able to paint all subs with one broad brush. If I could, I suspect my life would have been as drab and boring as paint by numbers on velvet. Each has been unique with various levels of common submissive characteristics… like being an ‘attention whore’ for One. They need the ‘attention’ of the One who earned their respect, trust, loyalty, obedience and love. They become His ‘whore’… willing to do whatever they can to please Him and keep His attention. They typically do not seek public attention to satisfy an ego unless they were hurt or damaged by a self-claimed dom who didn’t deserve, understand, or appreciate her strengths complimenting his weaknesses. There are many attention whores here on Alt under all different titles. Finding the one who is not here for the 'numbers' is achieved by feeling the art between their lines.

I think we all crave that attention, dominant or not. Maybe the craving is a result of childhood experiences or of loves found and lost. No matter the reason......Eve did bite that apple knowing there would be repercussions.

I woudl have to say, a significant number of sub missives are attention whores. But, over the years I find there are those who are pretty quiet and reserved. They do not seek much general attention. They may develop into someone who want attention, in part of please here partner. All submissive seem to have a need for attention from the one person that matters to them, their dominat/master. If they are not getting that, they are like a flower that does on the vine. "One Big Sky Covers Us All Equally"
