How to Spot a Scammer

So from my experience, I have deduced that 99.99999% of accounts on here are fakes. That is not sour grapes on my part. I actually have a fairly decent amount of activity on my account, at least I think so. It’s the experiences that I’ve had with those that I’ve interacted with. So I thought I’d write about what I consider “red flags” for bogus accounts. Keep in mind, even aren’t necessarily a no-go for but even of these gets wondering if you’re legit.

1. Super hot pic. If you’re super hot, great for you. If you don’t care about someone’s appearance, weight, age, or height then you are definitely less shallow than I am. Which again, good for you (not meant in a sarcastic way either). However, accounts like this will get me wondering, “Hmmmmm...how real is this person?”

2. Poor spelling or grammar. Sure this doesn’t automatically mean the person is a scammer but it screams, “Non-English speaking” or “In a hurry and don’t give a damn” which is a category that almost all scammers fall into.

3. , email, or other offsite communication. Look, I get it. This site sucks if you’re standard. Shoot it probably sorta sucks if you’re gold since you can only interact with other gold members. At least if you’re a guy. But trying go offline almost immediately just makes my Spidey-sense tingle.

4. The tasks or list of demands. Many times I have had a supposed Domme require that I do a list of tasks “prove my obedience”. Often it’s a questionnaire of some sort, some pics and then maybe some other things but it inevitably ends with them asking formoney , me to purchase a kit or toy from their vendor, or a request to join a specific website. No, nope, and see ya!

5. The meet . This is actually just my gut. I’ve had several Dommes want to meet with me almost immediately. They want me to book a room or come to a meeting place they have arranged and meet. Sounds like a dream come true. But they don’t seem to want to spend anytime getting to know you. And none of them will verify with me. What I mean by that is get on cam or a at least a quick phone call. Some will point out that their pic has their screen name, but I’m pretty sure I could find a pic online with someone holding a placard with their name on it and then create an with it. Maybe day I’ll try it just to it out. Something about this scenario just seems wrong and dangerous.

6. Asking for face in your nudes and lots of personal information. I found this out the hard way. I had a Domme ask me questions I thought were just idle chit chat; where I was from, my first name, what I did for a living. The conversation quickly changed to exchanging pictures. When she asked if I had a nude pic with my face. I didn’t think anything of it and then she requested that I take it with her name on a piece of paper. I really didn’t think anything of it until after the task was done and I sent it. A bit later she asked me if I had a Facebook page , which I have but rarely use, so I told her so and that I didn’t feel comfortable with giving it to her. “She” immediately started demanding it and when I refused she said she would find my page and post my nude to my friends if I didn’t . I was mortified but quickly realized that she had quite a bit of info plus a pic that might actually allow her to find me. I quickly went onto my FB page, took down any pics and information of myself, removed my job and changed my state and then told her to F off. She said she was going to post the pic online. I told her she did not have my permission and if I found out that she did I would notify the authorities about her attempt to blackmail . Never heard from her again

That’s all I’ve got. Feel free share your “red flags” in the comment section and thanks for reading. Hope this helps someone.

Since Alt doesn’t allow communications between standard members using messages or IMs I figured I’d create a blog where Gold or standard members can reach out . Not sure if this will work or not but you miss 0% of the shots you don’t take. So leave a line so we chat can and possibly exchange ways meet offsite.

Why get a gold membership ?

Can someone me understand the benefit of having a gold membership here? Most of the members are standard members and if you IM them or email them, they can’t even see unless they have points. So, from my perspective, you can really only interact with other gold members. Am I missing something?
