So, those who know me, know that I turned to BDSM after losing my hubby. It has been 5 years this year, and although I enjoyed the lifestyle. But now, I have found a vanilla man, who I feel I can give my heart to, one that I can once again allow to love me. All the BDSM relationships I have had, was always with Sadists, all I needed then was pain, and it worked for me. Now I am ready to move on, ready to let a man love me for who and what I am, and in return, give my love. Does this mean that I will give up on BDSM, no, but gently into the night I will go, we all have a lot to teach each other in relationships, and God help this man, kitten has a whole new world to show him!

Why is it that I have access to so many "Doms" yet, they are unable to give me what I want. I have always been open and honest with all around me as to who and what I am, I do not hide that I am into BDSM. Along comes a Dom, and he ticks all the boxes, except one, he has to hide who and what he is. I ask the question why? Are we any worse than anything else that is out there? Do we do anyone (besides me of course) any harm?
I am frustrated, and pissed off, due to this i have lost a Dom who was perfect in every way, but he was not able to let go, everything had to be planned around his vanilla life, and I was not willing to do that.
Seriously, we live in the 21st centuary, there are way worse things in life than BDSM...

It will be 5 years this year that my hubby passed on. It is the main reason why i turned to BDSM, i was not interested in a romantic relationship.
Of late, i have found myself feeling the need for someone in my life, so yes, i think i am finally ready to move on.
Now of course the person that i do eventually get romantically involved with will have to be a sadist, God only knows, i could never ever do vanilla again.
Anyways, not pushing the situation, what will be will be.

It all started with our ex President Jacob Zuma being sentenced to months in prison for contempt of court. Midnight last Tuesday, he handed himself over to the Mooi River correctional services to begin his sentence.
That is when the trouble on the streets started, protests on the streets to #freeJacobZuma.
The protests started in Durban, my hometown which is a Zulu nation, and then spread to Johannesburg.
It did not take long, before the looting and destruction started, and has been going on since Friday, right now, i can still hear gun shots from my flat.
They have destroyed countless shopping centers, stealing anything and everything. Midnight last night, the army were deployed to Durban and Johannesburg, but they are purely there to "assist" the police!
Right now, the shops that are open, are fast running out of essentials, as the trucks that deliver, have been stoned and burnt.
Our constitution allows for peaceful demonstrations, yet what we are seeing now, is total mayhem. God only knows how or when this will end!

A blog written by a Dom here, has taken me back to better times and regret for losing that "one special" Dom.
Sometimes we as subs can be so stupid and not see what is right in front of us till it is to late. All we are left with then are memories of someone who made life worth living.
