Just Don't Get It

There are many things on here that I just don't understand. It actually has nothing to do with the lifestyle but more the people on here.
There was this girl that I loved on here, we met on alt. We were falling for each other hard and then all this drama came up. Nit picking everything I said even though she was my sub. She knew I loved her and she said she loved me yet we still ended up splitting and I don't even know why really. She still says she loves me but is afraid she will hurt me again and therefore cannot be with me. Does that make any sense?
Other subs I have talked on here with, start to get to know. They seem interested the first time we talk. Think, "Ok this might work, shes interesting. She's interested in trying to be your slave to see how it goes. Lets see how this works out." After that they are gone. Try to message them again they never answer.
Also there are many, what I call, "cam sluts" on alt. Whose whole point is to get you to sign up to their site for "free" so you can see them on cam. The cam is not really them, its most likely a video of some other cam model. They just suckered you out of a couple dollars. You go in and you cancel whatever membership thinking that they are only going to get that money out of you. Then you are charged $40-120 on your next credit card bill because in the terms and conditions you were also automatically signed up for 3 other services you didn't know about.
Sorry I am ranting here but are there any real subs/slaves here? Girls who aren't just looking to get off once and then find a new guy? Girls who aren't just after getting your money? Or girls who actually mean what they say and aren't fakes and afraid of getting close to someone? Do they exist here or are they like the proverbial unicorn?

The summer grill

Many time during childhood
Dad would cook out on the grill
The smell of the summer flame
It just wasn't summer until
Dad started up the grill
The smell of the burning charcoal
To smell that again
