Holiday Time

You know, it has been a few years since I have really enjoyed the holiday season. Seems like stuff gets in the way of a season full of joy. But I am going to make this season different. All of the "stuff" that is weighing me down I am going to get it handled one way or another in the next few days.
Also, I have not and will not allow myself to get caught up in the consumerism of the season.
But it is just not the same without little ones running around (at this point I rent lil  ).
The other thing I am NOT gonna do this holiday is over eat ( I actually stopped doing that a few years ago). But I will have plenty of cheer with family and friends and a few drinks to enjoy the season.
I know it can be a difficult time for many It is my sincere hope that you all find what has been positive in the past year and have a renewed sense of possibility for the next year.

So, I suspect the answer to this question is YES...but, I assume there are some qualifiers. I have met a Domme and we have considered coming together to explore submissives. That basic concept is great. It is all of the other interaction that seems to be a challenge.
I like things how I like them. But would describe myself as generally speaking low key. She is high energy and more outwardly demanding and I gotta tell ya, we have had some ugly interactions that make me say, forget it. Life is soo short to live with unwanted grief.
So give me some thoughts. I am about to ask a beautiful woman to get lost if I cannot figure something out.

What Impact does a Black President have on Interracial relationships?

We are already 10 months into the Presidency of Barack Obama. Clearly he has had a tremendous impact on US relations around the world as reflected in his Nobel Prize. It begs the question what does it mean for sexual race relations here in the US. Is it now more acceptable for people of different races to enjoy each other’s company without concern for scorn and ridicule?
The answer in my view is yes. The earth has moved under our feet. Did you feel it? But in some parts of the country (we will call these epicenters) where democrats have rarely been able to win and in the former confederacy, the reality of a Black President was and in many ways still is inconceivable. The shockwaves will linger for sometime.
Literally some people for the first time are asking is it now OK to have sex, or a boyfriend or marry someone of another race. Whites AND Blacks are asking this question in a more serious way. Now there has been IR sex since the beginning of time... But will the taboo be lifted here in the US? No time soon...
But if President Obama navigates us out of this economic downturn, gets us successfully out of Iraq, prevents any terror attacks on US soil and solves the healthcare issues, white folks may start naming their Barack and interracial relationships may become the overt trend in dating.

So it is going to be 91 here and I am going to run down to the beach in Wilmington. I am taking a ton of work and I know some may doubt me, I will be very productive. It is amazing how the sound of the shore causes me to focus on what I have to do.

Short lived stay on ALT?

MMMM...So Is ALT worth it? I have been a gold member on AdultFriendFinder for almost a year, and frankly was underwhelmed but the quality of what I found there. I felt like a lot of the profiles and posts were generated to create the sense of a buzz. So I did not thing it was money well spent. PLUS given my real interest in the alternative lifestyle I figure let me check out ALT for free to assess the quality of what is going on before I make a financial commitment. Well, I just realized you cannot even read an email that somone sends to you? WTF is that about So some fake person could be emailing you to coax me to join.
So if you are trying to reach me. Take note that I have posted my messenger addresses on my profile. If this site proves truly interesting I will pay. But not before.
But I guess I can always blog.
