Is it just Me or shouldn't EVERY self respecting Dom/Domme be at least a gold member on Alt?
I flinch every time I see some self titled Dom/Domme groveling on the activities page for attention, even going so far as to troll every new post.. thats nothing short of begging in My view.. spend a nickel so you can be selective, spend a dime so standard members can view your profile but don't prostrate yourself for attention and then pretend you're a Don/Domme.. have you ZERO self respect?
I know some people decide to let their accounts expire simply because.. well.. look at the quantity of utter bullshit profiles; Nowadays this site has become gravid with utterly shit profiles.. this isnt a 'needle in a haystack situation'.. it's an ameoba in a cestpool, rampant with scammers, stolen photos and boiler rooms full of underpaid people that will grab your google hangout addy with their first correspondence for that nickel it earns them, their bosses use it to sell your email etc..
Before I digress too much further on fodder sufficient for it's own blog; I get that for some Doms/Dommes, it's become a lost cause and they just let the subscription go and and import their profile to a more fertile site. But those people aren't actively expecting to garner attention.
The others? Well.. if it looks like a catfish, smells like a catfish... you do the math

I am looking for something/someone very specific... not here to troll just any reasonably local girl.
If you're curious as to what I am looking for, send Me a message.
DO NOT send Me a 'wish list'... I don't care what you're 'into'.. in fact; I'll definitely ask you if at some point if W/we're a 'match' but a true sub will not include any of that in her correspondence(s) because it shows a self centered nature rather than an eagerness to please. Step to Me correctly or don't bother at all.
I'm not very likely to reach out and make the first move.. all too often it gives the wrong impression. So, to be fair, I suppose some guidelines concerning why I am here and what I might be looking for are in order.
I'm looking for a girl that is eager to please and trusts her own feelings without being too impulsive about it. Spontaneity, intelligence and a sense of adventure are all a big plus.
I don't want a biography out of the gate.. that wouldn't happen in real life and it won't trip My trigger here. Last ditch effort to salvage what seems a lost cause

I'm changing the way I interact with 'candidates' for My attention.
Moving forward, if someone reaches out to Me and I think I might be interested or otherwise amused. I feel I have NO option but to require photo verification (yes, I search your pics to make sure they aren't jacked before I even so much as reply)
Aesthetics aren't terribly important to Me but trust is and trust is essential to any D/s relationship dynamic. (If you didn't know that already, you're no sub anyway).
Photo verification means a photo of yourself (a selfie) holding up a sign with your username written on it.
I will return the favor when asked if I'm genuinely interested in said acolyte.
I hate having to do this and I'm certain there will be those that will hate having to do it but don't 'hate the player; hate the game'... there are just too many fake subs, fake pictures and fake locations and ZERO effort from ALT.com to reel in the riff raff that's become so overtly prevelant in recent years.

a LOT has changed over the years in alt.com... I've had 3 accounts on this site over a period of 16 years. I even met My wife on alt.com.
I think the most disappointing change has been an ever decreasing sense of 'community' regional chat rooms have died; there used to be a time when regional chat rooms had anywhere from a few people in the early mornings to over 100 people during 'prime time'. now, every time I look.. it's '0'.
I blame the incorporation of 'Adult Friend Finder's' niche dating sites into a single data base.. I get emails from gals on one of many of there other dating sites here on alt, and this is also why there are so many 'vanilla' profiles and 'activities' on the home page.
I also NEVER received 'non filtered' search results or got mails from people I had filtered out.. now I get mails from Dommes all the time and I'm clearly not a submissive. I used to find that amusing.. now it's just irritating.
Alt used to be the premier D/s dating site... it's flatlined and become a generalized spam and scam site no different that many others.. I'll keep the faith simply because I've gained some real friends here who I value and esteem highly but I do hope that alt.com makes an effort in 2021 to return to what made them 'THE' bdsm site instead of a haven for scammers and 'anything goes' vanilla pervs.
