An hour is a year when - standing in line - waiting for a call - you're or tired - its' pm on a Friday
An hour is a second when - laughing with a friend - holding a hand in the iCU - a lunch break - tinkering
An hour. Every hour & any hour.....is yours, mine, ours when we have the time.
Natl poetry month prompt. An hour.
I totally blew off the head scratching prompts of past days such as.......vending surprise, places in the CLE, loosing COVID view. smh over and over

Laughing Sal was a scary gal, Her grinning face, a mask. Slide some m0ney her way, Fortunes coming, she'd say, Or not, just remember, you asked.
************************************
Why are Limericks dirty Mostly they aren't even flirty. Just a few lines of crude And glaringly rude Words of sex offered truly absurdly.

Poetry to music aka a song. Not mine obviously.
Its a beeboppy fave that's been spinning round my head all day. The filters will butcher it but I refuse to adjust perfection.

Plop Plop, plop.
Tap, tap, tap Rat a tat, tat, tat, tat, tat tat tat tat.
The sounds 0f the coming storm and quickening rain drive me t0 the window.
I watch as single drops gather speed and size, falling together in a sprinkle, a shower, a deluge.
I wait in hopes 0f seeing cleaner windows, a cleaner car, a cleaner street.
Spring showers and rain storms take turns washing away the winter weary salt stains 0n the scarred and pitted roads.
This seasons pot , filled now to their deceptively smooth surface. Reflecting in a shimmering 0f oil and gasoline rainbows, the bitter angry clouds above that have waited months to be able to pour out their vengeance on a dirty and neglected world.
Washing it clean or just washing the mess into another's street and stream.
-Change in the weather.
Day FlVE in national poetry month challenge.

An ode to Haiku That glorious brief style. Monday proof.
Todays prompt for national poetry day was chilldh00d memories.
Not on a Monday. They've lost their damn minds. I think today's Monday was just mean.
Would some dommy type with a flogger or paddle please punish it.
Oh look! Its just begging for another.

ALT! STOP! A thief, stealing my words away each night.
Know this, blog, your A.I. will fail.
I am watching, testing, challenging your programming.
You have failed to take into acc0unt a menopausal woman's vow to defeat you.
The unwavering petty and stubborn commitment of a volatile, hormone saturated female animal, to break, conquer, destroy.

ElGHT billion bodies, IOO billion neurons each. A collective unconsciousness, Pieced together and torn apart with each death and birth.
Oné single Cuzi IOO billion neurons, she. Turns south and thinks If I breathe in deep I've just shared a breath that came out of Jesse in Key west this morning. Maybe a hiccup shared by Chen Zho in Wuhan last Tuesday.
I do like key limes.
Is it next to impossible not to think like others. It is impossible to think exactly like anyone else. Ditto with feelings. Emotions.
Thoughts are there, but should I care? I don't. They happen anyway. Somebody else's neurons have escaped. Why else would I be writing really bad noetry and have flash thoughts of mushrooms, poop and key limes.
I did have a bean burrito yesterday. Do beans lead to neurological flatulence.
I really do like key limes.

It was a yes Or maybe, no. A brief blank look How would I know.
A glare to stop, A nod for go. TW0 blinks too fast You move too slow.
Malice cloaked in pastels Honor seen in black. Indifference branded skin deep, Warmth in a shirt off a back.
Cookies to heal a spirit, Soft words a troubled mind. Tears and a grin of understanding, Peace of a different kind.
Deliverance at a stop light Gratitude in a cuss. Redemption in a FlVE spot Absolution on a bus.
-Lessons from a stranger
Todays prompt for day 0NE of national poetry month.
Dont look at me. Its Friday. Its lent. I just came for the fish fry and a side of home fries.
