I write this out of frustration and a need to vent. First a little background. I have done internet dating on and off for some years. At first maybe 14-15 years ago the trust level was high, I don’t think the word scam even applied. Internet dating was simply about using dating sites to find someone that looked a compatible relationship partner.
How different to now. I am getting multiple requests daily and am thoroughly disappointed with the rubbish excuses. "I need money for the internet so we can video chat", "I need to buy groceries", "I promise I will pay you back". Yeah right.
