I was at the gym yesterday ( keep reading this is relevant)..
And this bro comes over and ask if I'm using..
No not steroids..
He is asking if he can use the 45lb plates on the bench rack..
I said yes...
Cause I'm tired of people borrowing them and then not bringing them back..I need them when I shrug.
Same bro comes back like 10 minutes later..and asks
Like wtf is going on
...he is loading up a leg press machine with like 8 45 plates..stealing any plate he can off of every machine...so basically nobody can use the other machines
And I'm thinking...wtf are you at planet pizza if you ego lift like that.
Yes when you can bench,squat,d lift so much...maybe it is time to get another gym..
And it got me wondering about the lifestyle...
Should their be seperate tiers...to seperate people and make your goals more obvious..
For example a lot of guys will flock to a Domme because..She's a Domme...and/ or she list various fetishes guys really want to explore....
Now you may be saying...hold up leo...we don't need seperate spaces..
A Domme can think for herself and list in her profile...what she wants..
But A lot of times these profiles aren't an accurate depiction of what she wants or how men interpretate it..

The using of daffney ..a wrestlers story

I freely admit that it's been 20 some years since I really tuned into " wrestling"..
And honestly I always thought...
Fuck who wouldn't want to be a pro wrestler...rich,famous,have your own action figure..hell even a jobber makes more than me
Sign me up...said me and every other 20yr olds
And sure we all knew wrestling was fake
And that yeah people taking that many bumps for a living tend to get injured.
But I always thought it was the nature of the beast..part of the job.
Until a YouTube video revealed the real danger/ beast in wrestling..the creative control,the writers,the bookers.
I'll admit I had no clue who daffney the wrester was..
I say " was" because she is no longer with us.
Most likely someones , who thought this was her ticket out of that small town..
And yeah for some reason this wrestling company tna under Vince Russo decided to have " hardcore" matches..
With the women's division.??? Huh???
Women that weight like 120lbs
If you look closely at any wrestling company you see there is a pecking order..
Certain big stars don't get put through tables..these aren't exposed to the risk.
And the same was true with this company..the majority of women didn't take these dangerous bumps..
But Daffney...well Vince russo..head writer kept blowing smoke up her ass..telling her to do all this dangerous shit..
Like get slammed into a matt filled with thumb tacks or get slammed through a barbed wire covered table..
And this is how scummy pro wrestling really is..
Mick foley..cactus jack..dude love..mankind...a hero to many
The king of doing dangerous unnecessary stupid shit in the ring...
Which cost him the loss of many teeth and his left ear...
Advised Daffney that she should do the bumps..that it would make her famous..

A guy that knew the company wasn't going to advance daffney..she was midcard..replaceable..a punching bag

To suffering 3 concussion which landed her in the hospital.
Which lead to hospital bills that tna,Vince Russo refused to help her with..
The irony is originally the courts D eclaired Daffney an " employee" and not an independent contractor..
Which could of had huge ramifications for wrestler when they are injured.
But that got tossed out.
This company,these men used Daffney and then turned a blind eye..
The YouTube video said Daffney had cte from the concussion and got super depressed..
Before one night

Mick Foley posted an Instagram or tweet singing the praises of D affney and how she will sadly
Be missed??
And I'm like mother fucker...you knew what bumps like that did to your fat pig body..
Why the fuck would you advise it of a 22 yr old 120lb woman.
And I bring this up because Daffney also did tag matches with male partners..
And one dude threw her out of the ring like a rag doll..
Now I get..she was an adult...
But I also understand those in creative dangling that carrot and promising her she would be a star..
If ..
Well take thethese bumps...do those hardcore matches
And listen to any YouTube wrestling podcast and you'll know Vince Russo was a pos..

Just goes to show you how evil men can be..

And I wonder why we still watch.

Not once..but twice??? Why??
And you know damn well nobody in the company is doing that to randy..he doesnt take those bumps
I thought about Dom's actual pain...slammed twice
And it added nothing to the product..
It was stupid and could have permanently injured the man..
I wondered where is osha in all of this...imagine me body slamming a co worker and they were concussed.
I mean if you look at wrestling I can think of 2 deaths in the ring..Owen Hart and droz.
Yet contractors in their work place are constantly being injured.
And this will continue...them dangling that carrot before a ..
And telling him to take the bumps..
It'll make them a star.

I'm so fascinated with that

I pondered as I looked at personal ads today..

I use to think a story must have a beginning,a middle and an end..
And I ponder...as I watch..and process
See your boy
Is
Different.
I can't sit and just enjoy a movie or tv show.
My mind shifts into overdrive and begins to mentally rewrite the script. My mind wants to recast or do scenes differently.
Like I finally got to watch that Paterson from twilight in " the batman" movie..
And I wasn't a fan
I won't bore you with a movie review or my changes..
I used to think stories needed a beginning, middle and end
But I evolved pass such petty issues
Now my major concern is the
Payoff...did the writer fullfill the promise made to the audience..
In the batman's case?
I'll argue no..
Now when I write a story I'm looking specifically for that moment,that connection,those emotions..it's that payoff..
Cause the audience deserves this defining moment..its their moment
And now?
I See that moment as the starting point for a story and work backwards ..
Like in avengers endgame where Tony stark proclaims..
I am ironman..
And ironically
It doesn't have to be this big heroic superhero moment
And you don't even have to like the character..
It can be as simple as Rick Sanchez( rick and morty) at a bar phoning the intergalactic police..
To come arrest him..
Rick is shown surrendering so his ,grandkids and yes..Jerry will be safe..
Rick is a self absorbed azz,he fucked over his family multiple times and have put their lives in danger...
And through all that alcohol and haze
In the end
He still cares.
..even if he doesn't care about himself..
Rick is shown locked up in this cage on a wall with thousands of other cages...very matrix like prison scene
That is his new life..
Surrounded by thousands
Yet still alone...
But without that moment
You've failed as a writer.
Sorry but I need to feel,I need to care,I need to be invested
And I need that moment..
Or else He's just another flavor of the week dressed as " batman"..

The winter of leo..and what I learned so far

I mentioned numerous times my current employer promised me my paid time off..180hrs
I blogged..
.like that Seinfeld episode where George gets time off and it will be the " summer of george..
That I wanted the month of December off...I wanted the winter of Leo.
And it looks like I'm getting most of it...
So I already had a week off and learned some life lessons.
Lesson 1.
Even though I literally hit up the gym 5 times this week...just being away from work caused me to eat like a ..I can't repeat that mistake
One will never balance out the other.
Lesson 2.
I'm a middle card man. Meaning I watched current podcast from former wrestlers..
In this case it was Shane douglas..
And everything he went through with Vince and the wwf...
From low pay..to a 13 yr old vet having to prove himself to the wwf..to the company promising you shit and telling you to just..hold on..soon we will get this together..we will be bigger etc. This is a great oppertunity for you..
Is the exact same crap my workplace told me like 10 days ago
I'm middle card..a place holder..I'm never going to rise in this company
I'm not special
Lesson 3
What ever is old..is new again..
You can tell the younger generation 1+1=2..
You can preach 1 and 1 has always been 2..
And some 20 yr old tiktok chad clown comes along..
And says...nah bro...it's 3..
And any cred the older generation had...
Flies out the window ..
Old school bodybuilding..modern bodybuilding is
Gone..

Lesson 4

But you continue to read...
Cause your invested in them..
Lesson 5...with time off I watched that dumpster fire movie with Andrew Garfield as spiderman..
And Leo being Leo started to mentally compare and contrast this movie to the superior spiderverse one..
Today's lesson...you can spend millions on cgi, you can put tom cruise in yiur movie, you can be
Diverse as you want..
And in the end...
You simply need to
Let people feel Spiderman pain...let him fall in love..let him lose before he wins
And if you truly believe snow white isn't a love story and those elements need to be removed..
Then why are you writing..
You are empty.
Lesson 5
Don't care how many times you reboot a character or a franchise..
We know who spiderman,batman,superman is...
We don't have to through another rehash orgin story..
If anything the best characters are the strong silent types..those without an orgin story..
And those details slowly come out through the story.
Lesson six..diversity
You can put in tons of diversity...
But if your not giving the audience what they really want...
Then what's the point.
I watched the 2023 Dr who episode..fans were freaking out because they dared play the pronoun game,had a trans actor in this episode..
But who literally cares...
They gave homage to the fans..
We got our doctor/ doctor Donna moment..
And I couldn't have asked for more.
Lesson 7...life outside of work..welcome to pto mornings
I literally didn't know there would be this many people on the roads,in the gym,in the supermarkets...
Like do that many people work nights..
Cause I was a bit suprised

Maybe you read about a real life Forrest gump..
Where the guy literally fumbles his way to success despite the odds.
I use to think that title belonged to author roald dahl..
But I caught a YouTube vid on the life of William myer....aka George the animal steel..
And omg..
Large,shy,bullied as a with dyslexia..his mom told him to fight back at the neighborhood bullies..took on 15 of them.
Went to high school and became an all world athlete..became a big man on campus.
Knocked up his hs gf but still went to college..got a full ride scholarship. A freshman literally allowed to practice with the senior team...
That is how big William was
Had to enrol in an rotc program??? and punched this rotc geek in the face..
Lost a year of college eligibility???
Was in a wrestling class and tanked a match so his slacker friend could earn a passing grade...the dick teacher quickly caught on and gave the slacker an A
And William an " f"..lost another year of egilibility..
Guy offered him a job helping to teach disadvantaged ..
He took the job,finished his degree...
And you'd think that would be the end of the story..
Well by then the young couple had 5 and the teacher salary didn't pay the bills.
So William tried to get a job as a bouncer ...but couldn't get hired.
His friend was a big wrestling fan and told young William to go see this booker..
And the b ooker hired him on...
Can you imagine teaching,being the wrestling coach,the drivers ed coach..
And wrestling part time..
And he did this for like 20 yrs...
Only to have the state revoke his ability to teach drivers education due to the massive amounts of speeding tickets he had...
After school he'd speed to towns like 150 miles away to wrestle that night..
So William now needing money for his family..joined the Pittsburgh pa wrestling territory and was officially renamed...George steel..
And a legend was born...
Can you imagine doing a bs side hussle for 20 yrs..
And then people like hulk Hogan emerged and the industry caught fire..
Where most dudes were 20..he was already 40 something..
Which usually means he should have missed out on the big paydays..
But ended up wealthy, newly turned to religion and retired due to a disease.
He is now passed...
But omg what a life..I'd be scared shitless to get a girl pregnant,be married at 17..
I'd be shitless to see that college oppertunity go down drain.
I'd be scared someone would out me as a wrestler and I'd lose my teaching job..

By now you probably wasted a few brain cells reading Reddit post or sites that borrow such post for their own content..
This one lady was pissed that the guy she has been shacking up with for 8 years didn't propose to her..
And when he did...it was the lamest ever..
Basically she set up this camping trip so he could get down on one knee and romantically proclaim his love for her..on some hiking trail
It didn't happen...instead of hiking...he went fishing and threw the ring box at her..
Saying..apparently this will make you happy/ this is what you want etc..
She feels she was cheated out of that moment..a moment she has been dreaming of since she was a girl..
And of course 99 percent of people piled on the boyfriend
Claiming he is the worst boyfriend ever..
No one stood up for this dude..
So I'll take a second and try to explain..
First off men are not an accessory...a ken to your barbie..we aren't a place holder for your dreams..
Second..your childhood dreams are not ours..our primary focus as a couple shouldn't be doing things that make you solely happy..
That isn't marriage..that is femdom.
Maybe you've noticed everything about a wedding ceremony revolves around the bride..
With nothing really for the groom..
He stands there in a generic rental tux...men honestly don't like weddings..
Third..it's pretty obvious that this guy is against the concept of marriage..
