And old man and woman were out for a drive on a Sunday afternoon in the Arkansas countryside when there were flashing lights in the rear view mirror. The old man pulls over and the patrolman walks up to the car window.
Sir, may I see your drivers license said the officer. The old woman who is about deaf yells...WHAT DID HE SAY? The man hands his license to the officer and calmly tells the woman......he wanted to see my license. Then the officer ask the man if he
knew he was speeding. The old woman again yells WHAT DID HE SAY? The old man tells the officer he did not realize he was speeding and turns to the old woman and says....he wanted to know if I knew I was speeding. Then the officer ask where they were headed in such a hurry and again the old woman yells WHAT DID HE SAY? The old man tells the officer they were heading to Little Rock to eat lunch then turns to the old woman and says.....he wanted to know where we were going. Then the officer says.....you know, I once knew a woman from Little Rock.....she was the meanest, ugliest woman you would ever meet. Again the old woman yells, WHAT DID HE SAY? The old man told the officer he was very sorry to hear that.....then turned to the old woman and said......
he thinks he knows you..........

On this day in history, Jan. 19, 2000, Hedy Lamarr dies — dubbed "the most beautiful woman in film" in Hollywood by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer co-founder Louis B. Mayer. Also a WWII inventor, she was 85 years old.
Stunning actress also developed military technology that later served as basis for WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth communications.
