Joe Lieberman 1942 - 2024 , a former Connecticut senator who became the first Jewish American to be nominated as a vice presidential candidate on a major party’s ticket, has died at 82. I did not always agree with Mr. Lieberman but did always enjoy listening to him speak. I thought he was a very good and effective orator. I liked his laid back style, always seemed well prepared and most knowledgeable. R.I.P. Senator Lieberman.....you will be missed.
