Rags to Riches takes the Belmont!!!!
The first filly to win the Belmont since Tonya in 1905, and the first ever to win it at a mile and half. i'm so happy!!!!!

Today is the 139th running of the Belmaont Stakes..YAY!!! Today, for only the 22nd time, in the history of the race, a filly will run with the colts. It's quite exciting and has added a sense of drama to the Grade I race that was lacking since Derby winner Street Sense had decided to forgo this race and another match-up with Curlin, the Preakness winner, in order to get ready for the Breeders Cup in October. So, my bet has to be with the Pletcher filly Rags to Riches, not only has she, in racing parlance, been bred to run all day, but her sire and half brother both won the Belmont. So let's ger 'er done for the girls today!! GO BABY GIRL GO!!!

A Dom doesn't have to be an ass to be powerful, strong and Dominant
A Dom should want to take care of me
i should trust Him
my center is a calm and peaceful place
That maybe, just maybe i am worthy and deserving of love
That true happiness comes from serving Him
That everything just might turn out ok
A Dom has a job to do, and instead of
"fighting" Him, i should just let Him do that job, because in doing so, it brings us B/both joy.

...for a week, i would easily move heaven and earth
...for a weekend, i would joyously surrender my entire being
...for a day, i would freely submit to my very essence
...for an hour, i would happily kneel before Him, available for His slightest whim
...for always, is not what i want
i find Him fascinating, intriguing, funny and oft infuriating. Yet, whilst i don't see U/us as as a good long term D/s match. i still want what He has to offer.
If only He weren't so damned DOMINANT!! *L* you know the type, the One whom in His presence you just automatically fall to your knees.
Yet i, who seeks my "One", who wants a ltr, am willing, nay more than willing..i CRAVE, to my very depths, to submit to this Man. And then walk away when it's done-sore, spent, used and abused-and go happily back to my life.
The "problem" is convincing Him that i have the wherewithal,the fortitude if Y/you will, to stay emotionally unattached.
i can Y/you know.
As Mark Twain said, "20 years from now, you'll be more disappointed by the things you didn't do, than by the ones you do."

i was having a lovely, chatty, friendly conversation with a Friend of mine, and then all of sudden, He said something to me that made my jaw just drop!! It really hit home. It's nothing that He, and O/others hadn't said before, but something about it, this time..the terminology, or perhaps even my state of mind, really made it sink it. i am always amazed when O/others see me better than i see myself. Is it just me, or does everyO/one have this blind spot?
