Another Rant against......

Well here is yet another little rant about what I believe is wrong here. I'll give you my little story, and then let you all decide if I'm just a lunatic or if I am actually right on the money here.
So, I read this profile from a very lovely woman, and decide to respond. She seems to fit what I am looking for, and after reading her entire profile I think that I fit her requirements as well. Now her profile is quite long and in it she states that she is a little on the overly liberal side and is more of a spiritual type of person, but the majority of her writing is about her sexual preferences and what she wants her potential partners to be into.
Ok, so I send my message off, that basically tells her what I am like and what I am into and all that jazz, along with a few pics of myself.
Now this is was not a one liner " I wanna do you babe" kind of message. I hate those, and would never send one. It shows a lack of imagination if you can't muster up more than a complete sentence for a message. It WAS, however, an actual message that gave general details about who I am, what my personality is and what I am into.
So what did I get in response you ask ?
Well what I got was a one liner that simply stated that "appealing to me in a sexual manner has zero appeal to me".
Ok, I say to myself, at least she took the effort to write me back, so I replied with a thank you for your time and good luck response.
Brief pause.....
Ok, so I am sitting there thinking about it for a few minutes and it starts turning over in my mind that, appealing to people on a sexual level is exactly what this place is all about isn't it? I mean, who here really thinks that they are going to find their "soulmate" here? If you want to find your eternal soulmate, go check out soulmates'r'us or something, but don't come here to a place that is populated with people almost enirely out to find sexual gratification with like minded people.
I think I am right by saying this, but others may disagree, and I say all the more power to you, but ask yourself this, have you found eternal bliss here?
I would be willing to say most people would tell you no.......

Some Saturday Thoughts

Hello to anyone bored enough to read this little attempt at a blog. Never done this before anywhere so this should be a trip.
As I am writing this thing on a lovely and somewhat frigid saturday afternoon, sitting here at my desk at work, bored outta my mind because, well, I am at work, the thought struck me about what everyone here is looking for. Is it companionship? exploration? or just pure lustfull sex?
Probably a combination of them all I figure. The problem is that there are really only so many people to go around, which will pretty much leave a pretty big bunch of people still sitting there lonely and depressed about not being able to find someone to work out their kinks with.
The thought also struck me that I am probably one of those people. This occorued to me after sending out the umptenth message to someone.
Come on, lets face it, I am guy in a virtual sea of guys here looking for almost exactly the same thing, and they all probably think they are hot shit and can't figure out why they aren't making more contacts with people that want to play and fuck. They are all thinking exactly the same thing too I imagine..." Oh if they only started talking to me they would see I am a great guy and that we could have fun..." blah blah blah.
Yeah right.
I'll be sitting over in the corner there with the other so called "rejects", probably wanking off like the rest of 'em.
I'm not being to cynical am I ?????..... Nah.
