ownership

I have often pondered on this thought and would very much appreciate input from others ...so here goes ...
the Dom/mes/Masters have ownership of U/us the sub/slaves ...that fact goes undisputed ...however I often refer to Weomaster as "my" Sir ...(which He is) and I have often seen other sub/slaves refer to their owners as "my" as well ... my question is ...do the sub/slaves feel any reverse ownership of their Dom/me/Masters...or does a real ownership of the Dom/me/Master by the sub/slaves exist?

lori,
*smiles*
i too refer to DT as 'my' Master. i hadn't really thought of it as 'claiming ownership', but rather adding a little something special of my own when addressing Him. He addresses me as 'My slutangel'... and i address Him as 'my Master'.
i've been thinking about this since this morning... and i do think that in some cases, a sub/slave does have ownership and investment in her Dom/Master.
i think there are some cases where the sub/slave does not have ownership as well.
i will leave my opinion at that.

Great post lorie

A philosphical perspective to add to the discussion.

Perhaps it can be said a sub/slave owns her subbmission. Some would say the one choise a sub/slave has is the choise to submit. This being said in my lifestyle experiences everyone has their own ideas and ideals. In a sence i feel the slave saying "my" Master is a statement of submission, a self identification rather than a sence of ownership. Or perhaps ownership in the sence that she is reafirming her submission and His ownershgip by defining His status. she may be expressing her postion or dedication or submission inthe use of "my" thus enhancing her sence of submission.

Words to thin k on and ague about i am sure..smiles
